"Let It Bleed" is a song by rock 'n roll band The Rolling Stones. It was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and is featured on the 1969 album of the same name. The lyrics are highly suggestive, dealing mostly with sex, drugs, and murder, which might be the reason why it was never released as a single.
"Sixth Stone" Ian Stewart plays piano on this track (his only appearance on the album) while Bill Wyman plays autoharp. Many believe that this song was a take on the Beatles' album Let It Be, but the Stones released their album and song months before the Beatles released theirs.
Caetano Veloso did a cover of this song, featured in his 2004 album A foreign sound
