Leslie Segrete

Leslie Segrete (28 February 1975) is an American designer, seamstress, carpenter, and television personality. She is best known for her work on the TLC show While You Were Out, which concluded a four-year run in 2006, and is now a designer on Trading Spaces. She was born in Bethpage, New York.[1]

Segrete worked as the Art Director for several programs on the Oxygen channel and as Art Director for the Ricki Lake talk show.

She is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute and graduated from Hofstra University in 1997 with a B.A. in drama and a minor in anthropology.[2]

Segrete now appears as a carpenter and designer on the TLC show Trading Spaces.

Segrete currently writes monthly columns for two magazines, do! and House Beautiful. She is also working on a book titled Fear Not! You Can Reupholster Anything, due out sometime in late 2006.[3]. She also co-hosts a syndicated call-in radio show on home improvement called "The Money Pit."
