"Les Fleurs du Mal" is the title of Darkwave band Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble of Shadows' not yet released tenth album. It is scheduled for release on 13 April 2007. Although the title suggests a relation to Charles Baudelaire's 1857 collection of poetry, Anna-Varney has stated that this is not the case. "If anything," she said in the first interview after the album release had been announced, "it is related to Jean Genet's novel Notre Dame des Fleurs."[1]
It will be released in one CD box edition (limited to 2000 copies) and a 2-LP edition limited to 900 copies.
