From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
LeRoy Bach was involved in the recording of Wilco's 1999 album Summerteeth, and was named an official member of the group before the release of 2002's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. In January of 2004, Wilco announced on the band's web site that Bach was leaving the band.
Previously Bach was involved with The Dishes, 5ive Style and leader of Uptighty, a premier Chicago funk band. He performed in "The Shaggs: Philosophy of the World" playing guitar at the Lookingglass Theatre in Chicago. He also performed in Beth Orton's band as bass player, on her 2006 UK and US tour, promoting Comfort of Strangers.
Bach also played in a well received college town band in Champaign Urbana Illinois, named The Bowery Boys. Their only release was George Jones vs. Godzilla.
