Leroy Anderson Elementary School is a school that is serving San Jose, California, United States, within the Moreland School District. It was recently remodeled in 2005, and has 367 students. A K-5 Title 1 school, Anderson is situated in a community significantly different from its surrounding, affluent West San Jose neighborhoods. Fifty percent of Anderson's students are English Language Learners and seventy-two percent of the students qualify for free and/or reduced lunch.[1]
