Thanks for the welcome. I'll try to be good.

[edit] If you want to say anything, go ahead

I've noticed a certain obvious relectance to edit other people's pages, so I figured I'd add a little spot where I make it perfectly obvious that I don't mind comments.

[edit] Emergency contraception

Thanks for the tidying up of the headings. You changed the length of time that IUDs may be left in place to '12 years', the majority are only licensed for 3-5years use in the UK (T-safe licensed for 8years, but not commonly used in UK). The exception advised by Family Planning Clinics is that if at the end of the licensed interval, the woman is over 40, then it may be left in place until the menopause. I am curious, where does your 12years come from ? David Ruben 23:26, 2 August 2005 (UTC)

Yes definite will need distinguish US from UK. The ParaGard (Copper T 380A) is known as 'T-Safe CU 380A' in UK and licensed, here, for just 8years. However the six other IUDs available in the UK are all 3-5years. For most UK women the 3-5years therefore will apply. I'll try amend the articles (iud and emergency contraception) to highlight this - feel free comment/edit David Ruben 18:20, 3 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Re: That was rude.

Sorry, I didn't know he was your friend. I mistakenly took it as user harassment. SCHZMO 11:57, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
