Leonard N. Stern is an investor whose net worth is estimated at 2.2 billion USD.

Leonard is the owner of Soho and Tribeca Grand hotels and 35 million square feet of commercial space in New Jersey, mostly in the Meadowlands. Recently, Stern sold non-real-estate assets like the Village Voice and Hartz Mountain pet-supply business.

Stern holds B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from New York University (NYU). He is the namesake of NYU's Stern School of Business.

His German immigrant father started a pet supply business with 5,000 canaries in 1926.
