There doesn't seem to be enough content here to justify a page separate from the boy's famous dad. Looks like the only purpose of this page is to "out" him, i.e., to deliberately make a public figure of him, simply because his dad is famous and (maybe) you don't like his dad so you want to punish him. --Uncle Ed 19:36, 16 Dec 2003 (UTC)
- I heartily agree. I have twice redirected this page to Tony Blair and expanded the personal section of that article to include pertinent information about Leo and Tony's other children. However Astrotrain has now reverted me three times so he must have strong reasons for wanting this article. I don't really buy your last summary comment, Astrotrain, but won't revert for the time being to give you time to build your case for separate articles here. - An interesting article here - simultaneously shows how far the Blair's go to protect their child's privacy and also gives a news story that might be included here, given that there is not much that else to write about him. Pete/Pcb21 (talk) 20:50, 16 Dec 2003 (UTC)
I hardly think that writing a Wikipedia article would "hurt" someone!!! As for your comment's Pete, Leo Blair is a newsworthy item in the UK and beyond and a public figure in his own right. Should the article Lady Louise Windsor not also be redirected if your line of argument is followed. This article provides information to people who only want to know about Leo, and not the politics of tony Blair User:Astrotrain
- A member of the Royal Family is likely to remain in the public eye so I have fewer qualms about that article. Leo Blair's is only his father's son. The Tony Blair article is not solely about his politics - perhaps you've not seen the Tony Blair#Personal life section I wrote? That all being said Leo's name has been tossed around a lot in the media recently... so there is encyclopedic material to put under this article title even if personally I don't wouldn't include exactly which hospital he was born in. [edit] First born to a serving PM?
Leo Blair is the first child to be born to a serving Prime Minister.
I recall from the time of his birth that this is only for about 150 years, but am not sure to whom they are referring. And even then it probably only means legitimate children - David Lloyd George springs to mind. Timrollpickering 21:55, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)
The article says Leo Blair lives at 11 Downing Street. I was under the assumption that he would live at 10 Downing Street. Can someone confirm this? -- FirstPrinciples 12:40, Nov 4, 2004 (UTC)
- Tony Blair lives in the Chancellor of the Exchequer's apartment in Number 11, because the apartment there is larger and so more suitable for his family. (Chancellor Gordon Brown lives in the Prime Minister's apartment in Number 10.) Edward 00:11, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)
"he has had photos of himself published with some famous faces" etc. What does this mean? How can a five-year-old arrange to have photos of himself published? Do you mean that Tony Blair has arranged to have the photos published? This seems unlikely. Evidence? Adam 07:21, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
