Leonhard Lechner

Leon(h)ard Lechner (c. 1553, South Tyrol -1606, Stuttgart) was a German composer and music editor who worked with Orlando de Lassus.

Lechner's exact place of birth is unknown. The by-name he occasionally used, "Athesinus", refers to origins in the Adige Valley/Etschtal in South Tyrol.
