Leonard Teale

Leonard Teale (born September 26, 1922 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia — died May 14, 1994 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia), was a well-known Australian actor of radio, television and films.
Radio roles included the voice of 'Superman' in the 1950's.
Major television roles included the long-running role Senior Detective (later Detective Sergeant) David Mackay in Homicide. Homicide was Australia's first-ever television police drama; it became highly popular and Teale was closely associated with the series. Other leading television roles included Captain Wolcott in Seven Little Australians, and as the head master in school-based soap opera Class of '74.
Leonard Teale also played in a British-produced movie about the founding of a surf-life saving club called "Bungala Boys." Fuller details are available on www.IMDB.com.
