Leonard Hamilton is the head basketball coach at Florida State University. He is a former coach at Oklahoma State University and the University of Miami. He also coached the NBA's Washington Wizards for one season. His all-time record is 265-268, while appearing in 6 NITs and 3 NCAA tournaments. Also he has been to the Sweet 16. While with the Wizards he went 19-63.

Hamilton played college ball at the University of Tennessee-Martin. Hamilton was an assistant coach and associate head coach at the University of Kentucky from 1974 - 1986 under then Head coach Joe B. Hall.
