During the duel with Yugi, he eventually comes to his senses and refuses to help Zigfried, but is unable to remove card from play. Yugi, however, comes up with a strategy to destroy it, while Kaiba works on stopping the virus.
[edit] Deck
Leon uses a Fairy Tale deck, using the combined special abilities of his monsters to counteract his opponents moves. His cards are noted by Rebecca Hawkins to be a near perfect balance of Magic, Trap and Monsters, and to this extent his is able to consistently continue dueling in spite of being at a disadvantage. Several of his cards such as Iron Hans and Cinderella let him summon multiple monsters in one turn.
