Leo de Gale

Leo Victor de Gale (1921 - 1986) was the governor-general of Grenada from February 7, 1974 to September 30, 1978.
de Gale was born in St. Andrew's Parish, near Grenville, Grenada. He served as acting governor of Grenada for two weeks before it officially achieved independence in February 1974 and he became governor-general. He retired the year before the 1979 Grenada revolution.
