Leo B. Calland

Leo B. Calland ( February 24, 1901 to March 1984 ) was a football coach.

[edit] Coaching Career

Calland coached at Idaho, and San Diego State. From 1929 to 1934, he coached at Idaho, where he compiled a 21-30 record. From 1935 to 1941, he coached at San Diego State, where he compiled a 34-22-4 record.

He played football and basketball at USC. After graduating USC, he became an assistant football coach there.

[edit] Military Career

After coaching at Idaho, he entered the NAVY, where he served during World War II.
