I looked for a free image of Leoni, and could not find one. I have no problem with replacing this image with a free one (if available), but I also think it would be the wrong move to remove this image without a replacement. —MJBurrage • TALK • 23:56, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

I have no doubt. But I'm afraid our fair use policy is clear: a non-free image can not be used if a free one "could be created" to replace it. A free replacement might not exist at this time, but since the subject is still alive, she could be photographed and that photo could be released under a free license. There are people who don't like this policy, but it has been in place for a while, and began to be consistently enforced about a month ago at the request of User:Jimbo Wales. The reason for it is that if there is a nice promotional image in the article, there is no incentive for anyone to produce a free one. There have been many situations lately where a non-free image was used for over a year, but was replaced with a free replacement within days of the image's deletion. – Quadell ^{(talk) (random)} 18:27, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
