*Background:

A caged leopard called "The Great Mogul", escapes form confinement and wanders into a yard where dogs are chained. Mistress of the house, Dorothy, relases "Marquis" an English Mastiff, "O'Brian" an Irish Wolfhound and "Strafford" a Lurcher: The dogs move in at speed, but make little headway. Another dog is released. Missing all the fun a fifth dog "Shafto" a small Bull Terrier...."Mad with rage and jealousy..." struggles to get free. Men with ropes, armed with scythes and pitchforks, recapture the panther.
