Len Wiseman

Len Wiseman (born March 4, 1973) is an American film director and screenwriter, known best for the movie Underworld, which he co-wrote and directed, and its sequel, Underworld: Evolution.
He began his career in film as a property assistant in the movie Stargate (1994) and also Independence Day (1996). His movies show a penchant for prop work and his filming style draws attention to many of the "hero props" seen on screen. His unique visual style, later developed through the direction of advertisements for PlayStation console games and music videos for groups such as En Vogue and Megadeth, has often been compared to that of Michael Bay's.
He is signed on to direct the fourth installment of the Die Hard series entitled Live Free or Die Hard [1] He is also preparing an untitled Underworld prequel.
He married actress Kate Beckinsale on May 9, 2004.
