The Trivia section seems to slam the Rankin-Bass shows quite hard. While that may or may not be warranted, it doesn't seem very Wiki. -- Rpresser 19:07, July 22, 2005 (UTC)

-Fixed some stuff about endothermic/exothermic reactions and phase changes. -There's no evidence that the frog is "the Frog King" other than that he (or she!) wears a crown and holds a sceptre.

Just wanted to chime in and say that I'm impressed by the amount of work that's gone into this article about a minor character (albeit one with a cult following). Bobak 23:29, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
I agree... it's very good. Lem-lem-lemmiwinks... riana_dzastatce • 13:52, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

I would like to note that at approximately 8 am on Sunday, Oct. 29th, 2006, the RediJedi used the word "Lemmiwinks" in verb form to describe the action of the person who, in similar fashion to a gerbil, broke into the camper shell of my truck, scrambled over the heap of cushions in the bed, and then squeezed his way through the tiny window into the cab, as in "he lemmiwinksed his way up in there." What were the 'tragic events' in hawaii?

From the AWESOM-O article:
According to the audio commentary, the crew had to go to Hawaii for a friend's wedding, which pushed back the production of this episode.
I hope that helps. :) --Dreaded Walrus 03:20, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Lemmiwinks is possibly a parody of Brian Jaques best-selling "Redwall" books. The main character in the first book of the Redwall series (Matthias) is a small orphen mouse who in the end saves his town and is dubbed Matthias the Warrior. During his troubles Matthias not only encounters a sparrow king, but he also solves multiple riddles much like Lemmiwinks does.

Yes - I had a friend in class who said it was more like the Redwall series - I had said it was like the Rankin Bass cartoons and he said it was much more like the Redwall, which I had never heard of.
