[edit] Baneblade

I'll admit to not being totally savvy on the what's-what of W40k, but isn't the Baneblade a Leman Russ tank? If so, can someone include it here?

All I know about it is that it's so powerful that it typically takes up enough points to field an army, and requires pre-game go-ahead by an opponent to use. TKarrde 11:23, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

  • Not really. The Baneblade and variants are a much bigger, heavier tank than those based on the Leman Russ chassis. There's a small bit under Weapons, Equipment and Vehicles of the Imperium, or see the Epic rulebook as available from the GW website: the Baneblade is a "standard" tank in Epic rules. Ah! Just what I was looking for. Thanks! TKarrde 14:12, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] NPOV

So many POV areas filled with hyperbole! Orks are "foul", Lost & the Damned are "traitors"... That's racial and religious discrimination. This should be a neutral encyclopedia, not some Imperial propoganda rag. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 158.94.254.20 (talkcontribs) .

Point taken, but it really is just two words in an article; please assume good faith with respect to other editor's contributions. --Pak21 15:40, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] HBT vs. MBT

The Leman Russ is not a heavy battle tank--it's a main battle tank. Edited accordingly, but if anyone wants to refute...? Blast-san | Talk 2123 (UTC -4), 13.09.06
