Lemsip

Lemsip is a well-known brand of cold and flu remedies in the United Kingdom and Australasia. It is manufactured by Reckitt Benckiser.
Their original and best-known product is a lemon flavoured hot drink (hence the lem in Lemsip) containing paracetamol (an analgesic), phenylephrine hydrochloride (a decongestant) and Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). A new stronger formula, "Lemsip Max" has been added to the range, which is available in tablet form as well as a powder sachet. Also a new taste, "Soothing Orange", has been released.
They have grown to be a household name in the UK and now offer a range of related products including Lemsip cold & flu capsules, decongestant nasal sprays and capsules, throat lozenges and cough medicine.
In 2002, Poet Laureate Andrew Motion related that he took Lemsip regularly to help him write poetry[1].
