Lemon chicken

Lemon Chicken (Traditional Chinese: 檸檬雞) is a pseudo-Chinese American dish. The dish consists of cubes of chicken meat sautéed and coated with a lemon-like sauce.

Another version of Lemon Chicken popular in Australia involves crumbing larger pieces of chicken, basting with lemon juice and oven baking them. Another method popular in Australia involves coating the chicken in batter, frying, and then covering with a lemon sauce.

Yet another version is from Italy and is called Pollo Al Limone. Take a whole chicken and oven roast it with white wine, fresh lemon juice, fresh thyme and mirepoix.
