[edit] Personality and Traits

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

As a scientist, and being a result of an experiment on life, Lemon Browning enacts a similar experiment as well - artificial, free-thinking life. She develops the W-Series bioroids, culminating in the creation of the W-Numbers. She cares deeply for her masterpieces, the human-looking, emotion-capable androids of the W-Numbers series.

Lemon partakes in Vindel Mauser's quest for eternal war because she sees war as a fine testing ground for her theories and creations. Vindel, in turn, allows her much leeway with her experiments, so long as they have applications that further his war effort. She does not want to usurp him, however - that would take too much time away from her work.

In battle, Lemon is a crack shot, as her Ash Saver was built for long-range combat. In this respect, she resembles Excellen - both are snipers, thereby making it difficult for their opponents to hit them.

[edit] History

In the Shadow Mirror parallel world, Excellen Browning was killed in a shuttle accident during her youth. Her parents who survived the crash took their daughter's body in an attempt to resuscitate her. The result was Lemon Browning, and consequently joins with the Shadow Mirror years later, becoming the faction's head scientist of weapons research and development.

[edit] The W-Numbers

Not much is known about the W-Numbers, save for the fact that they were Lemon's ultimate creation. Judging from the numbering system, it would be logical to conclude that there were at least 17 models created, though only models W15 (Wodan Ymir), W16 (Echidna Iisakki) and W17 (Lamia Loveless) have been seen. The fate of the earlier models is unknown, as well as whether or not there were any more models after the 17th.

[edit] Relationship With Axel Almer

From her conversation with the Shuffle Union on Axel's route in Advance, it would appear Lemon and Axel were a couple. Her lines imply that Axel knows certain intimate details about her. After Axel detonates his unit and is retrieved by Lemon, they converse, with Lemon trying to sway Axel back to the Shadow Mirror by asking him if he's willing to disregard what they shared. Even when Axel refuses to come back, she lets him go, informing him that the self-destruct mechanism on his replacement machine is gone.

In Original Generation 2, Axel does seem to show a bit of concern for Lemon - he relates that there was a woman acting as a fighting partner to this dimension's Beowulf. He gives the woman's name as Excellen Browning and asks, "Is she the same as...?" and waits for her reaction.

In Advance, it must be noted that aside from his name and the ability to pilot his unit, the only thing that Axel remembers after the dimension jump is the name "Lemon". Also, the exchange between Axel and Lamia during their first encounter goes something like this:

Axel: Hey, you know me, huh? You must be, what, my girlfriend?
Lamia: You mustn't make such comments, sir. After all, you already have Mistress Lemon.

[edit] Relationship With W-17

Lemon sees W17 as proof of her success in her endeavor, even though she ultimately betrayed the Shadow Mirror. She cites her allegiance as the evidence of free will and self-actualization, as if to say that Lamia is no longer a mere doll (despite what Axel claims).

After she self-destructs the Angelg, Lamia is retrieved by Lemon, and the creator and its creation talk. They discuss about free will, and the value of being able to make one's own decisions, based on their belief of right and wrong. Lamia asks if Lemon will destroy her, to which Lemon replies no, for Lamia is living proof her experiments was a success. Lemon allows her to escape, and when Vindel castigates her for it, Lemon simply puts that W17 overpowered her, something that he didn't believe, but let slip past.
