The Midland Football Alliance page has had all references to the Leics League feeding into that division removed - can anyone confirm what league the Leics League currently feeds into.....? ChrisTheDude 07:50, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

It's another one of those weird situations. The Leics League definitely feeds into the Midland Alliance - Friar Lane & Epworth F.C. was just promoted this past year and Loughborough Dynamo F.C. promoted a few years ago. However, the Leics League is Step 7, unlike the other two feeders to the MidAll: the West Midlands Regional League and the Midland Football Combination. Speculation is that this is because the FA wants ultimately wants all county leagues at Step 7, but nobody really knows. It's classified as Step 7, but right now it's effectively a Step 6 league. Re-organization over the next few years may change this, we will have to see. --Balerion 17:09, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
In that case I will change the MFA page and put back in the reference to the Leics League being a feeder. I had noticed that Friar Lane went up this summer but thought that the removal of the reference to the Leics League on the MFA page might have been because someone had got wind of a decision to stop it being an MFA feeder league.......
