Leighton Miles

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Combining the classic orchestra with the electric guitar, Leighton Miles brings a unique style to the instrumental genre. Influenced by artists such as Yanni and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, he is able to create a large range of instrumental styles within his songs, from the soft, melodic symphony to the loud, driving guitar and pipe organ. Because Leighton is the only member in his band, he is able to write, direct, record, produce, and arrange all of his music. His instrumentation in any given song may include the piano, saxophone, drums, guitar, bass, strings, pipe organ, harpsichord, and much, much more.

Leighton is 19 years old and has made 4 CDs since he was 13. His released discography includes "Alaska"(2003), "Universe"(2004), "The Island"(2005), and "Legend", his latest album, released on January 28th, 2007.
