Leigh Henry

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Leigh Henry is a footballer. He is a product of the Swindon Town youth set-up and son of former Swindon favourite Charlie Henry. Currently a free agent.

At the end of the 2005/06 season, Henry was offered a six-month contract by the club, which was accepted.

During the 2006/07 campaign Henry was sent on loan by Dennis Wise to Weston-super-Mare F.C. on loan to gain some first team football. Shortly after his return Wise left the club and Leigh Henry was given a place on the bench for the clash against Lincoln City F.C. by Caretaker Boss Adrian Williams.

On December 30, 2006 it was announced that Henry's contract would not be extended and he was released from Swindon.
