Leicester, North Carolina

Leicester is an unincorporated community in Buncombe County, North Carolina, although it has begun a process towards incorporation.[1] Leicester had a population of around 9,900 according to the 2000 US Census.

Leicester is located at 1, about 10 miles northwest of Asheville. The elevation of Leicester is about 2,100 ft.
