It would be awesome if there were pics of the actual studded and non-studded pieces to which this article refers. It took me a while to figure out what it was talking about. I didn't know what a "stud" was... And I'm a long-time AFOL! (Although I didn't realize what that was until I visited [1]!)

That'd be a good idea... I had the same confusion about studs when I first read that awhile ago. I can take some pictures a month from now, but if anyone can get some before then... Mairi 02:44, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Wasn't Technic original called 'Technical Lego'? IIRC (in the UK anyway). (Could be wrong though).

It was definitely branded as "Technic Lego" in the UK in the 80s (when I used to play with it) - "Lego Technic" just sounds awkward. --JamesTheNumberless 10:12, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
