Legowars
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Legowars is a miniatures wargame invented by E. O'Dell and T. Ogrin in 1991. The game features light-hearted, space-themed combat between Lego minifigures. The game is distinguished from other miniature wargames in several ways: customizability of playing pieces, possession of a strong construction element, and gameplay ranging from silly to downright ridiculous.
The originators of the game published Legowars II on the Internet in 1996, and since then there has been a proliferation of rule-sets so that the term "Legowars" has come to apply generally to any wargaming with Lego bricks. Notable among these is Brikwars, which features some refinements that makes gameplay more fluid.
