Lego RoboRiders

The Roboriders was a series launched in 1999 by Lego after the Slizers but this theme was very short-lived because it didn't get enough popularity.
A total of seven official sets and 4 promotional sets have been released while this series lasted.
On the can there was a place where after you put a canister in the refrigerator, a specific code would be shown which you could use to play the online web game.
The official Roboriders story was that six powerful vehicles had been sent out to search and eliminate the mysterious virus enemy that is attacking their universe they live in. However, each of them has to stay on a lookout and alert the others so they can use their powers together to destroy the enemy virus.
Frost Roborider: Frost's terrain is known for temperatures far below frost temperature almost reaching -50 degrees Celsius and dangerous icestorms and filled with frozen obstacles. He is capable to launch out his sharp Icespears at his foes and is armed with a wheel launcher as well.
Lava Roborider: Lava's realm is filled with temperatures capable of reaching extreme heat, molten lava spewing out of volcanoes as well as it constantly rains with fire. He is capable of swing his Flameaxes and is armed with a wheel launcher as well.
Swamp Roborider: Swamp searches for the virus in the murky swamp that is filled with deep holes slippery pathways and a jungle full of entangled vines. He is armed with twin Katana to cut through thick vegetation and is additionally armed with a wheel launcher as well.
Power Roborider: Power's realm is not a safe place to be. This world is a huge city with Acid rain, toxic fumes and several highways with broken paths that are hard to cross. Power is armed with two Plasma-cannons and is also armed with a wheel launcher as well.
Onyx Roborider: Onyx stays firmly in his realm where he searches in the large mountain caverns and and caves, but this is not truly a safe place since there is almost total darkness and Onyx is the only one known to be able to see perfectly well in this realm. His weapons are twin Laserbeams and he also armed with a wheel launcher as well.
Dust Roborider: Dust searches for the enemy in the much dreaded desert realm. There are howling sandstorm that are very difficult to navigate through, the terrain is very tough to drive in and there is always a danger of drowning in quicksands. Dust is armed with two spears and is also armed with a wheel launcher as well.
Four promotional sets were given out by the Kabaya Candy Corp based on four of the Roboriders

- Dirt Bike(Power)
The last set ever released in this Lego toyline was the set known as Boss Roborider, no description has been given so it will remain unknown if he's the evil Roborider that launched the virus or if he's the big leader of the other Roboriders.
Roboriders is also known to be the last line of action toys created in the Lego Technic line before Bionicle existed.
