Legislative district of Benguet

The lone Legislative District of Benguet is the representation of the Province of Benguet in the Philippine House of Representatives. Benguet was part of the representation of Mountain Province from 1916 to 1969, Region I from 1978 to 1984. It first gained its own representation in 1969 as a lone congressional district until 1972, it was divided into two legislative districts on October 15, 1986, until Baguio City which comprised its first district elected its own representative in 1995.
