Legg Mason Building

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Legg Mason Building (formerly known as the USF&G building) is a 40-story skyscraper in downtown Baltimore. At 161m (529 ft), it stands as the tallest building in Baltimore, and it is also the tallest building in Maryland, and the tallest building between Philadelphia and Charlotte, though all of these titles will be usurped by 10 Inner Harbor, a new 59-story skyscraper projected to be completed in 2010.

The building's primary occupant is asset manager Legg Mason, Inc. In February 2007, Legg Mason announced that it is moving in 2009 to a new skyscraper being built in the Inner Harbor East development.
