It seems that $343 is a little too high of a military budget for Lebanon. Could someone please clerify this a little bit more?--Moosh88 04:55, 25 July 2005 (UTC)
- Now it appears that they spend over $500 billion, and they can't even defend against Isreal. Doesn't add up. 64.236.245.243 21:07, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Why isnt the Lebanese armed forces even putting up a fight in the current Israel-Lebanon crisis? Their country is being attacked, hundreds of civilians have been killed, who cares if Hezbollah is in the South, its still Lebanon that is being attacked. They should do something. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 159.53.46.141 (talk • contribs) .
- Seems as if they are incapable of doing anything. Dionyseus 15:10, 2 August 2006 (UT
The Lebanese cannot even fight Hezbollah. How are they going to fight Israel? The Israelis would destroy the Lebanese Navy and Air Force withing a few hours. They would destroy their tanks within a few days, mostly from the air. Withing a week the rest of the Army would be destroyed. Most of the troops would probably go AWOL.
[edit] Keep the part about the air force
Keep the part about the air force. It's about the armed forces so all branches should be included. Mrld 17:05, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] ATTACKER-class patrol boats
Are the ATTACKER-class patrol boats the same as the Australian Attack class patrol boats. The article states the boats are British but the link goes to an Australian made boat (I don't think the Aussies sold any to the Lebanese). Ozdaren 15:29, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
