Lebellot

Born Elazar Muneymne Lebellot on December 9th, 1976 in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil. He is the vocalist, bass player and songwriter for the Latin-Brazilian rock/reggae/funk fusion band Prato Principal. He grew up in Rio de Janeiro until the age of 17 when he moved with his family to the US. A year after the move he met Alex Strzyzewsky and formed Prato Principal along with Flavio Calixto and Nilton Strazzi. His lyrics are known to be very political and social mixed with the traditional brazilian bohemian poetry and jewish/reggae spiritual concepts. His music became more focused on spirituallity after the influence of Kabbalah, which he studies since 2002. He is also an observant Jew who keeps Shabbat, Jewish hollidays and eats Kosher.
