Talk:Lear's Macaw
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Not planning on making waves here, but if the wikipedia is using the Handbook of Birds of the world, shouldn't this section be the Indigo Macaw? For consistency? Oh, and I know I'm useless, which of the Bonapartes described this species?Sabine 04:30, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)
According to the HBW website it's Lear's Macaw: http://www.hbw.com/ibc/phtml/familia.phtml?idFamilia=73
The Bonaparte in question is Charles Lucien Bonaparte. Mwng 15:21, 10 Nov 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Lear's Macaw Page needs life!
The article on this bird is quite interesting, indeed, but it lacks a single picture of the animal. Frankly, a written description does not suffice, in my opinion.

[edit] Re-rating
Though the Lear's Macaw article is humbled in comparison to many of Wikipedia's bird articles, it has grown in size and detail lately, which I personally think constitutes a "re-rating" of sorts. After looking through many "start class" articles, this one seems to stand out among the crowd. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Anon44 (talk • contribs) 14:28, 23 February 2007 (UTC).
