probably a joke

I thought so too, but it checks out as a real organization--a sister organization of the League of Independent Voters--and seems to be a national organization that is at least borderline-notable. It's on AfD, so I removed the speedy tag, and cleaned up the article to be a bit more factual. Dpbsmith (talk) 01:07, 4 November 2005 (UTC)

From what I understood working with these guys last year, the League of Pissed Off Voters was just a nickname for the League of Independent Voters to make it more catchy with their key demographic. Karmafist 19:39, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
