Learnix, also spelled as LEARNIX is a Linux distribution based on KNOPPIX a bootable LiveDistro on CD.It contains a collection of building simulation software tools.

LEARNIX is compiled by the Low Energy Architecture Research uNit, LEARN, of the London Metropolitan University

LEARNIX was developed as tool for the building simulation module, part of M.Sc in architecture, energy and sustainability. It can be used by anyone who wishes to use the simulation packages without installing Linux. There is good support for different keyboard layouts and for laptops.

There are some requirements for a computer to be able to run LEARNIX, which include:
