Leander Independent School District

Leander Independent School District is a school district based in Leander, Texas (USA) and covering Leander, Cedar Park, Jonestown and Northwest Austin. It has "Academically Acceptable" status under the Texas Education Agency.
It describes itself as "pacesetting" and claims three key elements:
- "a continually improving world-class curriculum"
- "a focus on teaching and modeling ethical behavior"
- "encouragement of parent and community involvement"
As of 2005 it has over 19,400 students, an increase of over 1,300 from the previous year.
The district has a "CollegeConnection" arrangement with Austin Community College.
