Leah Ruth Robinson

Leah Ruth Robinson is a New-York-State-certified Emergency Medical Technician, Robinson serves in the Emergency Room of St. Luke's Hospital (St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center),New York City. For a number of years, she taught cardiopulmonary resuscitation to laypersons at Lenox Hill Hospital. Active in writers' organizations, Robinson currently serves on the national board of directors of Mystery Writers of America, and is a former member of the steering committee of Sisters in Crime NY/Tri-state.

In civilian life Robinson goes by the name Leah Robinson Rousmaniere. She is married to historian/writer John Rousmaniere, and divides her time between Stamford, Connecticut, New York City, and South Pomfret, Vermont.
