Le Vent du Nord

Le Vent du Nord are a folk music group that won a 2004 Juno Award. They will perform at the 2006 National Folk Festival in Richmond, Virginia.

Hailing from Quebec, Canada, the band sings traditional Celtic tunes in French. Made up of Benoit Bourque (vocals, accordion), Simon Beaudry (vocals, guitar), Olivier Demers (fiddle), and Nicolas Boulerice (vocals, hurdy gurdy, piano), the group currently has two CDs out.
