Jean-Pierre Le Pelt is the furrier from 102 Dalmatians that helps Cruella de Vil attempt to steal the puppies. He is played by Gerard Depardieu, a French actor. Often in the movie, the puppies try to trick him. One runs around his feet with a string which causes him to fall into a closet, and another dog runs up to him and bites him on the butt. He is the main villain besides Cruella DeVille in the movie.
