LDS poetry
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
LDS poetry (or Mormon poetry) is poetry written by members of the LDS Church. Mormons have composed poetry since the church's beginnings in the early 1800s. Contemporary LDS poets are often torn between trying to represent their faith in their work and trying to engage more mainstream poetic currents.
