A Shirker's Call to Action: Layabout No More! (Japanese: 逃げ腰NO.1 めんどくせーがやるっきゃねえ！！ - Nigegoshi nanbaa wan Mendokuse~ ga yarukkyanee!!) is episode 70 of the anime series Naruto. The episode's storyline is from the Invasion of Konoha manga arc.

Naruto, Sakura, Shikamaru, and Pakkun(taking place of Sasuke) are being chased down by several Sound ninja. Two platoons plus one, to stop any ambushes on the platoons, which total nine people, are following Naruto's group. When the eight Sound ninja stopped, one of them would mark a tree. This mark would keep the ninth on the trail of the eight ninja in order to prevent any ambushes.
Shikamaru decides to stop and try to hold them off so the others can catch up to Sasuke without fear of pursuit. Shikamaru is the logical choice because of his Shadow Possession Jutsu...needless to say, he's not too thrilled by this. After a while, he runs out of chakra and is unable to keep up his shadow possession. Luckily, he was saved by his sensei, Asuma, who uses weapons called trench knives (a combination of dagger and brass knuckles) to fend off the enemies.

- When Shikamaru raises his right arm, to show the 8 Sound ninja what he used to fake Pakkun's paw prints, the Sound ninja do not copy his movements even though they are caught in the Shadow Possession Jutsu. Possibly because he got them with Kage Shibari no Jutsu first.
