Laxton, East Riding of Yorkshire

Laxton is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 3 miles north east of Goole.

The civil parish is formed by the village of Laxton and the hamlets of Cotness and Saltmarshe. According to the 2001 UK census, Laxton parish had a population of 322.

The village is served by Saltmarshe railway station, on the Sheffield to Hull Line.
