Why does this outbreak deserve an article? Definately not notable as far as tornadoes go... -Runningonbrains 19:20, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- I agree. It should almost be merged into Hurricane Isabel (although it didn't directly lead to such, the atmosphere left behind caused it) CrazyC83 03:50, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
I disagree with the rename, although I understand why it was done. Even though it was a series of F1 Tornadoes that hit Lawrenceville, it was known as the "Lawrenceville Tornado". I realize while this not be semantically correct. I'm going to request an Admin to move it back. --Wac01 19:51, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
I strongly disagree with the merger with Isabel. The tornado outbreak had next to nothing to do with Isabel, unless a source can state otherwise. True, there was instability in the atmosphere after the hurricane, but was it from the hurricane? According to NCDC, it apparently was part of a larger severe weather outbreak. Maybe that article should be made with this going there. Hurricanehink (talk) 00:56, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- I said almost. If the instability can be proven, then I support the merge if there is nowhere else to put it (even though Isabel was dead at the time). If Tornadoes of 2003 is created (not an immediate priority, but I might put up the stub), then that would be a logical location. This is sort of an odd situation here... - I think it should be merged with the larger outbreak, as I mentioned. Even if the instability was related to Isabel, there's too much info in the entire outbreak to put it there. The outbreak, which could be called the September 2003 Mid-Atlantic Severe Weather Outbreak, caused three tornadoes and severe weather in New Jersey, one tornado and strong winds in Pennsylvania, etc. Hurricanehink (talk) 17:10, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
