Lawton Chiles High School is located on US 319 in the northern part of Bradfordville, Leon County, Florida, north of Tallahassee.

Lawton Chiles High School was established in 1999 and is the newest public high school in the Leon County school district. The first graduating class was the class of 2002. The school is named in honor of Lawton Chiles, governor of Florida from 1991 to 1998.
The school motto "Cognosco, Duco, Perficio" translates from Latin to "I learn, I lead, I achieve."

- In 2006, Lawton Chiles High School placed at No. 278 among the top 1200 high schools in the United States.[1]
Chiles finished in 4th place at the 2005 and 2006 FAMAT State Convention, and 5th place at the National Convention in Mu Alpha Theta.
