Lawrence Atwood Whitney (born February 2, 1891) was an American athlete who competed mainly in the shot put.
He competed for the United States in the 1912 Summer Olympics held in Stockholm, Sweden in the shot put where he won the bronze medal. He also competed for USA in exhibition baseball tourtament in Stockholm.
