Laval Chiefs

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Laval Chiefs (Les Chiefs de Laval) was a hockey team based in Laval, Quebec. The team is still part of the Ligue nord-américaine de hockey (LNAH), though no longer in Laval. The Chiefs were previously part of the semi-professional QSPHL (19982003) and QSMHL (20032004), LNAH (20042006). The Chiefs played at the Colisée de Laval.

The team was once known as the Saint-Lin Gladiateurs and they moved to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu in May 2006.

A documentary on the Chiefs' enforcers, called Les Chiefs, was recently released to DVD and chronicles the life of the players. It was directed by Jason Gileno.
