LaVita Brooks was born on January 24, 1976 in Memphis, Tennessee. Even as a child, she knew that she needed acting as a her creative outlet. The stage is the canvas for her art. Stage credits include plays by Shakespeare and Tennessee Williams. She is now pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a Performance Concentration at The University of Memphis. Film is also a passion for her. There are several Independent films, major productions, commercials on her resume.
