LaVell Boyd

LaVell Boyd (born September 12, 1976 in Fort Jackson, South Carolina) is a professional American football player.

Boyd is a graduate of Doss High School was the all-time leading receiver in Jefferson County history. He later went on to the University of Louisville, where he help lead his team to two bowl games. LaVell majored in sociology.

Boyd has played for the Cincinnati Bengals during the 2000 season. In 2001 the Miami Dolphins were he was injured. In 2002 Boyd played with the Minnesota Vikings. In 2003 LaVell played in NFL Europe league with Rhein Fire during the 2003 season and, as of 2004, plays for the AFL team Georgia Force.
