Lauren E. DeCarle was born in Monroe, Connecticut circa July 15th, 1989. As a young child, Lauren was deeply intrigued by snow, ice, and sports involving the winter. Snowflake decor was pervasive throughout her room, while most children enjoyed barbies and yo-yo. She witnessed the sport of *luging while watching the '93 olympics with her father Joe DeCarle.

Rachel C. Rohinsky grew up in the cozy New England city of New Haven, Connecticut. As a young girl her love was not toys or swimming, she had a passion for food. By the age of 10 she had successfully opened a five star restaurant with her partner chef Jacob Goldberg. Her passion for gourmet food became a quick habit, she was willing to do anything for the sake of fine cuisine.
